River  View

We are situated on the banks of the Berg River, 50 metres away from the slipway. The photos on this site were taken from our balcony which overlooks the river and river mouth, with views of the sea and island in between, which is home to ostrich, eland and lots of bird life. 

 

Velddrif and Laaiplek are linked to one another by the river and has that small-town welcoming atmosphere. The area offers great weather and activities including boating, fishing, sailing and general water sports. Long white beaches for lovely early morning walks. The town has all the facilites including a Super Spar and OK store. Canoe and bicycle rentals are available at the Port Owen Resort which is close by. 

 

The house sleeps 6 and has three bedrooms downstairs with one bathroom (bath, toilet and shower) as well as one separate toilet. Upstairs is the kitchen, lounge with DSTV,  dining area, braai area and guest toilet. Enjoy the views of the river and sea whilst braaiing on the patio. Secure parking for 2 cars or boat with trailer.
